It's a beautiful Fall season here at Mt. Lebanon. We enjoy getting to serve the many churches and schools who come for retreats this time of year.

A few days ago I heard laughing and stepped outside my office to take this picture. Pantego Christian Academy hosts an annual retreat here and this group and their leaders were enjoying meeting under our new cedar pavilion. Beyond playing a game, they are hearing from the Lord through His word, growing in faith, and making lifelong friendships and memories. Bring your group and do the same!

There are exciting announcements below. We are hosting our inaugural Patton Dinner to reflect on Mt. Lebanon's amazing history and build for an exciting future. Our first group of Ambassadors is living here and extending our ministry in new directions. And our second "Run The Mount" 5k is coming soon.

If you love Mt. Lebanon, please let us know if you'd like to come to the Patton Dinner on November 2. The Lord is doing wonderful things through this ministry and we'd love you to be a part. The event is free and there is no obligation to give, but your participation would mean so much. Hope to see you here!

The Patton Dinner

On Thursday evening, November 2, we will host our inaugural “Patton Dinner” here at the camp. As you may know, Mt. Lebanon is in a season where it is vital we begin replacing, improving, or expanding the camp’s grounds, facilities, amenities and programs. Our team has already begun that process and has made great strides this year, but we do need to begin developing a family of donors who will come alongside us in this endeavor.

We hope you might be able to join us for this inspirational evening celebrating the impact Mt. Lebanon has had over past generations and looking forward to exciting days ahead. If you feel led and know others who might have the heart and capacity to support the camp or give toward a project, consider hosting one or more tables of eight with those who might have the heart and capacity to give to the camp. Run the Mount 2024

Join us on Saturday, December 2 for the second annual Run the Mount 5k to Inspiration Point! Campgrounds will be open from 9am - 12pm and the race will begin at 10am. The cost for the race is $25 per participant if registered before November 2, or $35 per participant after November 2. Everyone who registers before November 18th will receive a Run the Mount t-shirt. Registration is only required if you plan to run the 5k, so come spend a Saturday at Mt. Lebanon!

Introducing the 2023 - 2024 Ambassador Ministry Team!

Our exciting new Ambassador program launched this Fall! We encourage you to pick a name below and commit to pray for that individual throughout their year service and discipleship at Mt. Lebanon.

Projects, Prayers, Possibilities...Participate!

Future lake site

Mt. Lebanon is growing rapidly, but also has aging infrastructure and facility issues that need to be addressed. While we cover all our operating expenses with program revenue, these capital improvements will require donations from those who love and believe in the camp.

We anticipate adding a small lake for fishing, boating, swimming and waterfront activities. This would be a tremendous addition for both camps and retreat guests. As resources are available we are also praying we can add:

A large pavilion to accommodate activities and meetings in the center of camp.
Our nine bunkhouses need to be replaced with lodges that include meeting areas.
A skid steer with attachments

Please pray:

As we grow we need to add staff, especially in our Physical Operations and Housekeeping areas.
For God's direction and wisdom as we make adjustments to expand the reach and impact of the camp.
For all our Baptist camp leaders in Texas who will be coming here to Mt. Lebanon to meet in January. We desire to be a blessing to other camps here and abroad and are praying for the right path forward.
