After more than 42 years of faithful service, Mt. Lebanon’s Associate Executive Director Ronney Nanney has announced his retirement effective March 31.
Ronney’s impact on Mt. Lebanon is truly immeasurable. His first footprints on the property came as a young
boy visiting with his mother who was GA (girls missions) director planning activities at the camp for associational churches. Seasons during his childhood and teenage years were filled with RA (boys missions) events and summer camp at Mt. Lebanon.
In the early ’80s Ronney became a summer staffer and intern before taking on full-time duties as director of recreation
following graduation from college. He later managed operations and held a variety of other roles that spanned 5 decades.
Without a doubt Ronney has left an indelible mark upon the camp, ensuring that his legacy will endure for generations.
